Payment & Cancellation Policy

Direct Deposit Payment - For appointments paid via direct bank transfer, full payment is required no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled session. A copy of the transfer confirmation must be emailed to leanne@yournewbeginningscounselling.com to verify payment. Please note that sessions are not confirmed until payment has been received and verified.

Invoice Payment - All invoices issued by the Your New Beginnings Counselling are payable within 7 calendar days from the invoice date. Payment must be received in full by the due date unless prior written arrangements have been approved by Your New Beginnings Counselling. Failure to make payment within the specified timeframe may result in service delays or suspension of work. Your New Beginnings Counselling reserves the right to take further action to recover outstanding amounts where necessary.

In Person Payment - Payment is required at the conclusion of each in‑person session. By attending a session, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. Accepted payment methods may include cash, card, or other approved options as communicated in advance. If payment cannot be made at the end of the session, the appointment may be considered incomplete, and future bookings may be paused until the outstanding balance is resolved.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) – all EAP sessions are to be paid in full no later than 48 hours prior to your first scheduled session. Please note that sessions are not confirmed until payment has been received and verified.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy - We kindly request that any cancellations or rescheduling be made at least 24 hours prior to the start of your appointment. Changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a $75 cancellation fee. Appointments cancelled with insufficient notice, as well as no‑shows, are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling. This policy is in place to ensure fairness and to respect both your time and the time reserved for other clients. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.
